Oct 18, 2020 The Kawartha Downs Racetrack and Speedway started its activities in 1972. It features Live Harness racing, Stock Car Racing and Slot Machines at the 'Shorelines Slots'. With a free parking lot, free complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and several dining options, the establishment knows how to take care of its guests.
Shorelines Slots at Kawartha Downs, previously OLG Slots at Kawartha Downs, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a variety of different aspects available at their Fraserville location.
In 2015 the Ontario Gaming East Limited Partnership announced the new brand of Shorelines Casinos. The transition from OLG to Shorelines took place in early 2016.
Gaming at Shorelines Slots includes 450 slot machines ranging in price, along with a racetrack for Harness Racing and the Speedway. The Player's Lounge and Café on site offers an a la carte menu and light refreshments for guests at Shorelines Slots.
Services offered include:

Kawartha Downs features harness or Standardbred racing where the horses are attached to a race bike, and steered by drivers through a one-mile race. The horses which compete in the harness racing have two distinct gaits – pacers and trotter races.
